Health and Wellness Policy
Make sure your personal hygiene is acceptable when receiving your massage. If you have had a recent surgery, injury, or have a medical condition please consult your doctor BEFORE you schedule an appointment. Massage should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and is intended for the basic purpose of relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension.
If for any reason you cannot arrive on time, the appointment will proceed and end as scheduled with full payment required. Arrive no more than 10-15 minutes early to allow enough time for a thorough consultation.
Ashley may use her discretion to terminate the session at any point, with full payment required, should clients’ behaviors, language, and/or actions be inappropriate, threatening, or made to cause her to feel uncomfortable. The massage you receive is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension and is absolutely non-sexual.
Canceling appointments costs the business time, money, and clients. Twenty-four (24) hours notice in the form of a phone call or email is required when canceling an appointment. If the phone is not answered when calling to cancel, leave a message to avoid unwanted charges.
If given less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, you will be charged half (1/2) of the cost of your session. If given less than two (2) hours notice or if you do not show up to your appointment, you will be charged the full amount of your session. If you have a membership and cancel with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, your session will be forfeited.
If you need to change your original appointment to a shorter session that same day, there will be a $10 convenience fee added to the shorter session price.
Clients holding a membership with The Compassionate Touch agree to have the amount of one (1) massage session charged automatically to their desired account at the first of each month. If the card on file is declined at the first of the month, it is your responsibility to pay the invoice by 11:59pm PST that day. Failure to comply will result in an Insufficient Funds fee of $30.00 applied to the amount of your membership session. Overdue invoices that are not paid by the end of the month will result in membership termination with the outstanding balance due immediately in full.
No long-term contracts and no initial fees. Unused sessions do not rollover. To cancel membership, written notice must be given thirty (30) days prior to the upcoming invoice.
Coupons and Promotions
Coupons and promotions cannot be combined with any other offers and are only valid for a single session. They must be used by the expiration date and hold no cash value.
Minors ages 18 and younger must have a parent or guardian present to give consent and sign the new client paperwork. The parent or guardian must remain in the room for the entirety of the session.
